First Day Of Summer

Wow.  I can't believe it's the first day of summer already.  Wasn't it just Christmas?  Time sure flies when you get older.  I found some images that remind me of all the reasons I love summer.  I'm planning a few trips, have been getting some sleep, and hanging out with friends.  What are your plans for the summer?

Relaxation and a Pina Colada

Well, it's been a tough week, that's for sure.  My spring break is so late this year (the end of April), then we come back and we're out for the summer on June 10.  Having summers off is one of the many reasons I love being a teacher, but it's not often I get to actually go somewhere.

I haven't been to Hawaii since 2008, and I'm dying for a trip.  It's my source of comfort and relaxation and I'm seriously thinking I need a trip.

I got side swiped yesterday, and am not looking forward to getting my car fixed.  I also decided to push my novel release date back to May 6, if you noticed the counter on my sidebar.  I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to get everything done, and wanted to enjoy the process.  I hope to make it great so some of you want to buy it!  Hope you all have a great weekend friends.  In the meantime, what's your favorite vacation spot where you can just RELAX?
