Fashion Friday Mad For Stripes

"In The Navy..."

Good morning friends!  I hope you are having a great week.  I can't believe it's Thursday already.  It's been over 80 here in sunny Southern California and I'm sick of it, to tell you the truth.  I know you all back East are telling me to shut up right about now, but I want to wear my cute sweaters and new Uggs!  

A color I love and notice can be worn year round is navy.  It's classic, chic, and refined.  It also looks very nautical for summer or polished for winter.  I also love that it was Kate Spade's color of the month for January.  Do you wear navy?  What's your favorite piece and I'm dying to know what color shoes you wear with it!  Have a great day!

Is Gray The New Black?

I'm finding myself wearing a lot of gray this season.  I love it.  It's such a great neutral, and looks crisp, fashionable, and feminine at the same time.  I just got gray Uggs for Christmas and can't wait to wear them.    I'm curious, do you wear a lot of gray?  What is your favorite gray piece?

Uber Comfy Uggs

The weekend is on it's way!  I'm so excited to be getting out of school tomorrow for 2 weeks vacation!  It's my favorite time of year and I am so looking forward to relaxing.  This week has been so busy, but fun, and I'm ready to take some time off enjoying everything the season brings.  How about you?

In the meantime, today is Fashion Friday once again.  I hope you can link up with me and share the fashions you're loving.  I have to say before I begin this post, I never thought I would consider Ugg boots fashionable.  That being said, I'm kind of liking them!  Ugg is known for their sheepskin boots, but you might not know that they have an entire line of other shoes and boots as well.  I have been fighting it tooth and nail, but finally broke down and bought a pair.  

The only problem though?  They're supposed to be super comfortable, but do cause foot problems if you don't have the proper insoles in them.  They have no arch, so some are having pain.  I love mine and wear them to Disneyland.  Do you have any?  What are your thoughts?

Passion For Plaid & Giveaway!

Good morning lovelies!  I hope you are enjoying your week and like me, looking forward to the weekend. I was supposed to go see the fabulous comedian Anjelah Johnson, but had to sell my tickets (a little overspending for Christmas, I guess).  Oh well.  What do you all have planned this weekend?  I love hearing all about your fancies at Christmas time.

One thing I'm noticing a lot this season is plaid, and not just plaid, but plaid on plaid.  Have you seen it?  People are mixing plaid prints and colors.  I don't know if I would do it, but I like it.  It's very festive and makes me feel all cozy.  LOL.
