No More Neon?

I'm a child of the 80's.  I was in middle school when the neon trend hit big.  I love it.  I wore everything I could that was bright pink, yellow, or green.  Was it flattering?  Probably not.  Did I love wearing it?  Of course.  I swore I would never see myself in neon again.  Never say never, right?  The neon trend is back and it's huge.  

I've been known to give Nordstrom a bit of free publicity.  Why?  I love their customer service, their product, and the overall history of the store.  Plus, I'm an ex-employee!  Here are a few neon pieces available at Nordstrom.

Tis the Season of Neon

It seems like neon is everywhere right now.  It's definitely hot for tanned skin.  It reminds me a bit of the 80's though, and since I grew up during that time and wore everything I could neon, I'm not sure I can stomach it.  I do love the bright pink though.  What do you think?  What shade of neon do you love?  Do you wear it?

Pink and Green Thursday Knowing Neon

Today is Pink and Green Thursday once again and I'm linking up with the beautiful Trish of Pink Preppy Lilly Lover.  In looking for some fun inspiration this week I found some neon pink and green fashions!  I don't often wear neon, because it reminds me of 8th grade (my awkward days), and I don't particularly choose to relive them.  But, I do love the brights for summer.  So, neon pink or green?  Which do you prefer?  Do you wear them in any way?

Wordless Wednesday Neon Nature

W Magazine always has edgy, different, creative photo shoots.  It's probably the main reason I love them.  I'm not sure how I'm feeling about these photos.  They are a little dark, foreboding, and creepy in a way.  The contrast of the neon colors agains the background makes great art though.  What do you think?
