7 Days of Love--Day 5: Let's Be Vain

Well it's finally Friday...and I hope you're as excited about the weekend as I am.  I don't have any big plans or anything, but this week has been exhausting trying to play catch up after I was sick.  So, I think I might just hang around in my p.j.'s watching movies in the rain.  What are your plans?

Today I'm loving bedroom or bathroom vanities.  I'm dying for one for my bedroom.  What better way to primp and get all dolled up then by sitting at your very own gorgeous vanity?  Not only is it a gorgeous piece of furniture, but then you also get to put pretty trays, perfume's, and flowers on top.  There's just something about a woman sitting at a vanity putting her makeup on that is not only sexy, but timeless and beautiful (think Anne Archer in Fatal Attraction).  I can't think of a better way to enjoy the getting ready process, then by applying that rich red lipstick in that sparkling mirror.  Take a look at some of my favorites.

7 Days of Love--Day 4: Flats

We're on day 4 of my series, "7 Days of Love," and I'm so excited about this post!  Yes, the series is all about things I'm currently loving, so of course I had to blog about flats.  I always wore heels until the past few years.  Flats are so comfy, chic, and have a certain sexiness if you buy the right ones.  Since I'm also tall (5'10"), it's kind of nice not to tower over everyone in the room.  Every year the selection of flats gets greater, and of course much more stylish.  This year there are many amazing looks to choose from, so I thought I'd share a few of my favorites.

7 Days of Love--Day 3: Erin Condren Life Planner

It's Wednesday, which means we're on day 3 of my series, "7 Days of Love."  Let me first state that I am in no way being paid or rewarded for this post.  I simply love, love, love these planners so much that I had to share with all of you, my favorite people.  

Erin Condren Life Planners are no secret.  But, in case there are any of you out there who don't have one, you must run to your computer and customize your own right now!  I'm a bit old school in that I like to have my calendar written out in front of me.  The Erin Condren Life Planner has so many things I love, I will just list them for you:

7 Days of Love--Day 2: Vegas on CBS

DAY 2

I hope you're having a great week so far.  Since I'm sharing what I love this week, day 2 brings us Vegas, no not the location, the T.V. show on CBS.  If you're not watching this show, you should be.  It's like this show was made for me.  It's got old Vegas, amazing fashion, historical backdrops, and cowboys and ranchers.  What more could you ask for?  If you like Mad Men, I think you should give it a shot.  Every week I die over the costumes the women on the show are wearing.  Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis star and co-produce.  There's also a few really good looking men on the cast as well.  Need more reasons to watch?  Did I mention it's written by the writers of Goodfellas and Casino?  Oh, and it's based on a true story. 7 Days of Love--Day 1: Sensational Sweatshirts

It's that time again--Monday.  I have to admit I'm not hating it, since I'm off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Gotta love those teaching holidays.  I'm finally starting to feel a bit better, but am taking it easy to avoid getting any type of flu.  It's going around CA and I'm pretty much out of sick days :-(.  I hope you all had a great weekend and are looking forward to the month of love, or February.  As a single girl, Valentine's Day is not my favorite, that's for sure, however I do relish the decor, the pink and red everywhere, the cute little candies, and amazing desserts on Pinterest.

So, in honor of trying to get over my dislike for the sappy holiday, I've decided to do a 7 day series on the things that I love.  Each day I find new things to love, whether that be movies, outfits, desserts, books, or even something as small as a new flavor of ice cream.  So, I thought I'd share what I'm loving and see what you're loving too!

DAY 1

Today I'm loving chic sweatshirts.  Sweatshirts have come a long way.  No more rolling out of bed in your old, ripped sweats...now there are amazing prints to choose from, and they can even be dressed up with a collared shirt underneath.  There are so many to choose from, and they're super comfy, which is one of the many reasons to love them.  I also like that if they have some type of print or design on them, I feel I can get away with wearing them to work ;-).  So take a look, and tell me if you love them too:
