Cut Them Off!

I'm heading out tomorrow for my road trip to Colorado and I've packed enough for a full family!  LOL.  I'll be gone a month, so I need a few things, ya know?  This year I'm dying to wear my newly made (by my sister in law Taylore) denim cut off shorts.  I'm very particular about my cut offs and hate when the pockets come through the bottom because they're too short.  They also look great with cowboy boots.  I've got my road trip playlist ready and I'll be posting pics along the way via Instagram.  I'm looking forward to catching up with you all on Monday!  Have a great weekend!

Memorial Days Marks Shorts Season!

I hope you're all having a great weekend.  I'm heading down to hike with my brother and sister-in-law.  It's been a little cooler here this week, but Memorial Day for me is the start of shorts season.  I don't wear many, but love the look of a great pair of shorts.  My favorite pair have to be my white Miss Me's.  What are yours?

We Wear Short Shorts...In Winter?

Well, it's Wednesday once again!  The weeks are just flying by as usual and I'm so excited to be in November.  Pinterest has so many fabulously inspirational pins!  So, what better time than today to link up with my fabulous friend Michelle of The Vintage Apple for "Oh How Pinteresting Wednesdays?"  I came across one pin in particular that showed a woman wearing shorts in the fall/winter.  I'm not sure I can get on board with this trend.  I noticed an adorable pair at Target the other day, but even with tights, I feel like my legs would freeze, and I'm in sunny southern California!  What do you think?  Do you wear shorts in the winter?  Any tips on how I can wear some?
