I hope you're all having a great Saturday.  I'm feeling a bit blah today.  Most of my Christmas shopping is done, now it's time to work on wrapping, making peppermint bark, and writing out my Christmas cards.  I'm also on the lookout for the perfect Christmas outfit, preferably anything tartan or as some of you know it, plaid.  Nothing says the holidays like plaid.  Take a look at the gorgeous picks from Vogue Magazine.

Passion For Plaid & Giveaway!

Good morning lovelies!  I hope you are enjoying your week and like me, looking forward to the weekend. I was supposed to go see the fabulous comedian Anjelah Johnson, but had to sell my tickets (a little overspending for Christmas, I guess).  Oh well.  What do you all have planned this weekend?  I love hearing all about your fancies at Christmas time.

One thing I'm noticing a lot this season is plaid, and not just plaid, but plaid on plaid.  Have you seen it?  People are mixing plaid prints and colors.  I don't know if I would do it, but I like it.  It's very festive and makes me feel all cozy.  LOL.

It's my favorite day of the week again...Fashion Friday!  Hope you can link up with me. One trend I've loved forever is the nerdy, intellectual, glasses-clad girl.  There are so many fun things that go along with this style; plaid, oxfords, hats, glasses, red lips, cardigans, and of course a great blazer.  I wear all of these things, so it's no surprise I love it, but can it be worn in the summer?  Of course!  What's better than an adorable pair of denim shorts, a white tank, sweet yellow cardigan, and some oxfords?
