Wearing White After Labor Day

It's Labor Day weekend and if you follow the old rule about wearing white, it's time to put away that white and focus on other colors for the year.  I don't really follow that rule.  Living in Southern California, it's hot until November and no one notices if we wear white pants all year round.  For those of you who are sticklers for the old fashioned, Vogue Magazine shows you what to keep readily available and what to put away after tomorrow.  Check it out.

Sensational Stockholm--Street Style Spring 2014

This week has been crazy busy and it's only Tuesday!  As you can probably tell by my lack of a blog post yesterday, I am back to school and have a bit of a full plate.  I haven't forgot you all though, since you know I love my blogger friends!  

Today I'm inspired by the breathtaking beauty of these blonde bombshells in Sweden.  Try saying that three times fast, ha ha.  They are so put together and chic, I literally want to copy every one of the looks seen here, shot by Harper's Bazaar photographer Diego Zuko.  Which look is your favorite?

Fashion Illustrator Hayden Williams

I'm such a huge fan of fashion illustrations.  My blog header was designed by the fabulous Inslee Haynes, and Sandy of Ooh La Frou Frou is one of my favorites.  I love the look of a colorful fashion illustration framed, hanging in the perfect space.  They really bring a personal flair to any room.  

Hayden Williams is a 21-year-old (yes 21!) fashion illustrator from the UK.  His style is to die for and I always love seeing new illustrations in his Facebook feed.  Take a look at some of my favorites, then head over and visit him.  Enjoy!

Oh how I love to see what the "normal" people are wearing, if you can call them that.  I certainly wouldn't call normal carrying a Chanel bag, but that's just me.  Loving the looks from Paris.  Which is your favorite?

New York Fashion Week has become an event that is known for launching new ideas, trends, and of course designers.  This year is no exception.  There are so many fabulous looks I can't wait to see in the "real" world.  What I usually enjoy more than the runway looks, however is the street style of the fashion forward who attend the event.  Look at what they wore this year:
