A Somber Anniversary--9/11 Remembered

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York.  My goal for this post is to remember.  To remember everything our country experienced and went through that fateful day.  To remember the lives lost in the horrific attack.  The volunteers, firefighters, policemen, and anyone else who did everything they could to help our country that day.  To remember where you were when it happened.  To remember the tears, the pain, the heartache that we, as a country experienced.  To remember that we are AMERICA AND WILL NEVER FORGET.  To remember that we are STRONGER BECAUSE OF THIS LIFE CHANGING EVENT.  Please remember today.  Say a prayer for our country, the heroes we lost, the heroes who survived, those who experienced it first hand, and of course, those who had to experience it first hand.  GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Crazy Cat Eyes

Good morning.  I hope you are all having a restful weekend so far.  It seems so trivial with all the coverage of 9/11 and the 10-year anniversary, but I felt the need to post on something light today.  I've been crying for days watching all of the coverage on the events and needed a bit of a break.  Tomorrow I will be posting a tribute to 9/11 so I hope you can visit and take a look.

On to today.  One make up trend I have always loved is the classic cat eye.  I've never been able to perfect it, even when I worked for MAC I felt it impossible to get just right.  Check out the photos and let me know if you do a classic cat eye.  See you tomorrow friends.

WE Will Never Forget...

Today marks the 9th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11. Please take a moment to remember those who lost their lives, those who defended us, and their families.
