Fine Man Friday

It's getting to be about that time that I'm kind of ready to move on.  From what, you ask? Fine Man Friday.  I'd like to move on to do another feature for Friday's.  I'm open to any ideas, so hit me with em'!  In the meantime, here's your choice for the week--Paul Walker, who won by a landslide!

Pink and Green Thursday

Today I decided to choose photos of make-up for Pink and Green Thursday.  I am a true girl and love make-up, so much so that I even worked for MAC at one time.  I have more colors than I know what to do with, and nothing lights up a face like beautiful eye shadow or lipstick.  So, I'm curious, would you wear pink or green on your face?

I want to say thank you so much for all the support on my announcement from yesterday.  I am so in awe of the blogging community and how many great people I feel encourage me every day.  I hope to have another update on the process very soon!

Wordless Wednesday And Great News!

Well, I promised some good news on the novel front, so for Wordless (Semi) Wednesday, I had to share!  After finishing my novel, I was on the hunt for a good illustrator to do the cover art.  Guess who I chose?  Inslee Haynes!  I'm so honored to have her doing my cover art.  I couldn't wait to share the news with all of you!  If you aren't familiar with her work, check out these wordless images.

Lastly, if you haven't heard, Hollywood Legend Elizabeth Taylor has passed away at the age of 79 from heart failure.  I will doing a tribute post to her and her career on Saturday, so please make sure to come by then.

Halle in Hollywood

Halle Berry is not only stunning, but full of talent and charm as well.  I remember her way back when in Boomerang with Eddie Murphy.  Remember?  The photos are from the newest issue of Vogue.  I'm in love with the old Hollywood look of her hair, clothing, and the backgrounds.  What do you think of Ms. Berry?

The Lincoln Lawyer

It's rare for me to like a movie enough to post about it, but I saw The Lincoln Lawyer this weekend and I loved it.  Matthew McConaughey was back to his old self, the cast was amazing, and it was a great story.  I even bought the soundtrack.  There were some really great songs in the film.  I was really inspired watching it, knowing that it was a novel made into a film.  I'm feverishly working on my novel revisions and working with the cover artist.  The novel should be ready for purchase on Amazon on April 15!  So excited!  I hope you had a great weekend.  Check out the film if you get a chance this week.
