Daring Demi

No, not that Demi, the other one, Demi Lovato.  Demi's had a hard year, battling everything from cutting to eating disorders and being diagnosed bipolar.  But, at 19, the girl seems to have a new lease on life and I think she's just beginning.  What do you think?  Isn't she lovely?

Lady Of The Moment...Lea Michele

Many of you watch Glee faithfully.  I tried, but just couldn't get into it.  I know, don't throw things at your computer, but it's not my cup of tea.  I'm not even a fan of Lea Michele, but couldn't help but say "Wow" out loud when I saw these phenomenal photos of her from Harpers Bazaar. Do you watch Glee?  Will you miss her if you do after this season? Which photo is your favorite? I have to say the roses remind me of Alice In Wonderland.

Leather Love

I'm still fighting Fall, but am really excited to start wearing my leather again.  I love leather jackets like I love my cowboy boots.  I like all colors, textures, and styles.  I had a red, soft, leather jacket I wore for years with jeans and a great pair of boots.  What's your favorite piece of leather?

Inca Trail

Yesterday I mentioned Shabby Apple's Inca Trail collection.  You know about my western obsession lately and the timing for this collection is just perfect!  It's right up my alley.  I'm going to order the skirts for school to wear with my new boots!

If you've never shopped with them, you must visit.  Their prices are reasonable, and the dresses and skirts are to die for.  Check out the new collection, then head over.  Enter the promo code "trail" to receive 10% off your order!  Let me know what you get!

Fashion Friday Crazy About Carrie

Welcome back to Fashion Friday!  Since I'm on a western kick lately, who better to feature today for her fabulous sense of fashion than Carrie Underwood?  I've loved Carrie since she auditioned for American Idol.  She had a down home sweetness that couldn't be beat, and those pipes!

Since American Idol, she has definitely turned into a sophisticated, classy, gorgeous young woman.  I love that she's not afraid to wear different colors or hairstyles, and who wouldn't kill for those legs?

Check out her new video with Brad Paisley

By the way, since it's Fashion Friday and all, have you checked out Shabby Apple?  They have the most amazing dresses and their clothing is fit for women, not teenagers.  They are launching their newest line, called Inca Trail.  This is one part retro, one part South-of-the-Border, and one part off-the-beaten-path Explorer.  The collection of dresses and skirts was shot on location in Peru and is perfect for Fall!  Check them out and let me know what you get--they're even offering 10% off if you use the code, "trail."  Have a great weekend!
