Good morning!  So much has been going on lately, I wanted to use today's post to update you all!  I have a new blog!!!  I wanted to set up a separate webpage for my writing, so the fabulous Stephanie of Dirt and Lace gave me a makeover on my new author blog! It's called Kori Donahue.  I'd love for you to visit, let me know what you think, and maybe even follow me?  I think it came out really great.

With the new blog focusing on my writing, I wanted to update you all on the book sales.  My first novel, Murder On The Boulevard is getting great reviews!  It is available on Amazon in both ebook and paperback format.  It should also be available very soon for the Nook!

Boots, Feathers, and Cowboys

I'm heading out to the Tim McGraw concert later, so I'm feeling a little inspired by western wear.  I love concerts, because there are so many different styles and accessories.  Here are some fun images I found to get me in the mood.

Fashion Friday Wild Wedges

Happy Friday!  Another week has come and gone and I am out of school next Friday!  So excited!  Today is my favorite day of the week, because I get to link up with all of you for Fashion Friday.

One thing that seems to bring summer to mind is wedge shoes.  They often have a straw or jute type heel, and come in wonderful colors and patterns.  They can make a pair of shorts look fantastic, or just add to a casual summer outfit.  I'm not a huge fan of wedges, probably because I'm so tall already, but I found some at Nordstrom that I would die for!

Marvelous Marilyn Turns Eighty-Five!

Today, June 1, 1926 Marilyn Monroe was born, or rather Norma Jean Baker was born.  The starlet and legend we came to know as Marilyn Monroe would have turned 85 today.  I have always been a fan of Marilyn, but really came to appreciate her vulnerability and insecure qualities only in the past few years.  In fact, some of you might remember that I began this blog inspired by her, thus the name Blonde Episodes.  Although pics of Marilyn from my header have disappeared, she still remains on the blog in spirit.  So, happy birthday Marilyn, you inspire me every day.
