Let's Go To the Emerald City

Happy Friday all!  I'm heading out for my painting and wine class, but wanted to share what I've been dreaming about all day with y'all!  I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon--I'm seeing emerald everywhere.  It's the color of year, or so I'm told.  I've always been a huge fan of jewel tones, so I'm thrilled to see such a rich color featured pretty much everywhere!  Take a look:

Fashion Forward--Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2013

So I finally got my new car today!  I'm so excited!  Not only do I get to save money, but I'm driving around in amazing vehicle.  God is good!  I hope you're ready for the weekend.  I know I am.  It's been soooo cold here in CA and it's only supposed to get colder this weekend.  

Moving right along...Louis Vuitton has the classic style that I have always loved.  They never appear old-fashioned, but rather cutting edge and chic, while at the same time maintaining their classy reputation.  The company has been around since 1854 and I can't see it going anywhere anytime soon.  Look at these gorgeous frocks from their pre-fall 2013 collection.  I have to admit the models remind me a bit of those creepy girls in "The Shining," just sayin.  Which look is your favorite?

Welcome to 2013!  I hope you all had a fabulous New Year's.  I definitely did and was lucky enough to spend the night with some great friends.  This year I plan to focus on the positive.  I have some fun changes coming my way, and I've finally come to realize that God is in control.  I'm so excited to see what He brings me this year!  2013 Will be worry free!

With the new year comes new fashions.  What I'm obsessing over right now are a new pair of sunnies.  Nordstrom always has a great selection and this season is no exception.  Take a look.

Wonderful Winter

Winter is here and it's time to break out the gloves, caps, and stylish sweaters.  Since it never gets too cold here in Southern CA, it's nice to have a little bit of a chill here.  It even shows on the forecast it might rain on Christmas Eve!  Here are a few reasons to enjoy the winter, courtesy of Harper's Bazaar.

Winter is fast approaching.  Although it's still really nice here in Southern California (63 or so), snow is falling in other parts of the country.  Vogue Magazine always has the best photos.  Look at the glimpse into some of their archives that show us gorgeous winter shots.  Which is your favorite?
