Annie Up

Pistol Annies are the epitome of old school, down-home country.  The trio has a distinct sound that you can't help but love.  They're tough, beautiful, and all have amazing voices.  If you don't know who they are, Pistol Annies includes: Ashley Monroe "Hippie Annie," Angaleena Presley "Holler Annie," and Miranda Lambert "Lone Star Annie."

The reason I'm talking about Pistol Annie?  I'm so excited about their new CD that I had to share!  The album "Annie Up" came out on the 7th and it's chalk full of white trash country.

Check out the video for their single of "Hush Hush."

CMT Awards 2012

Little Big Town

Another fashionable awards show is here...and I'm loving that country style!  It's no secret I love me some boots, buckles, and rhinestones, but I love that the country guys and girls are shaking it up with some formal gear this year.

Carrie Underwood rocking those legs as usual.  Love her shoes!

The McClymont sisters...aren't they adorable?  Love the green pants combo.

Hayden Panettiere who will be starring in a new show, Nashville

Lady A

Loving Kellie Pickler and her pink frock

The ladies of Pistol Annies.  I love these ladies, but I'm not sure about their looks for the show.

Lauren Alaina--I just saw her perform at the Sugarland show last weekend and she's adorable!!!

Grace Potter looking sleek.

Jake Owen looking gorgeous as always and his new wife!

And, no recap would be complete without my boyfriend Luke Bryan.  Congrats baby on your win for male video of the year for "I Don't Want This Night to End."  See what singing about me gets you? ;-)

Fashion Friday Taylor Swift

Wow, let me say it again, Wow.  I am speechless after seeing the breathtaking photos of Taylor Swift in this month's Vogue.  Mario Testino has done it again.  No one works a camera like he does.  After seeing the photos, I just knew I had to feature them for today's Fashion Friday post.

Taylor is getting more beautiful everyday.  Her style is polished and perfect for a 22-year-old.  I didn't have a sense of who I was at that age.  These photos remind me of a boho, Carly Simon-type look.  I'm dying over those Miu Miu boots.  Again, Wow.

So, want to be a part of Fashion Friday and the link up?  Just follow the directions below!

Fashion Friday Crazy About Carrie

Welcome back to Fashion Friday!  Since I'm on a western kick lately, who better to feature today for her fabulous sense of fashion than Carrie Underwood?  I've loved Carrie since she auditioned for American Idol.  She had a down home sweetness that couldn't be beat, and those pipes!

Since American Idol, she has definitely turned into a sophisticated, classy, gorgeous young woman.  I love that she's not afraid to wear different colors or hairstyles, and who wouldn't kill for those legs?

Check out her new video with Brad Paisley
