Wordless Wednesday And Great News!

Well, I promised some good news on the novel front, so for Wordless (Semi) Wednesday, I had to share!  After finishing my novel, I was on the hunt for a good illustrator to do the cover art.  Guess who I chose?  Inslee Haynes!  I'm so honored to have her doing my cover art.  I couldn't wait to share the news with all of you!  If you aren't familiar with her work, check out these wordless images.

I'm so excited to release the novel.  We have a tentative date of April 15.  It will be available on Amazon as an Ebook and in paperback version.  Thank you all for your support.  I can't wait for you to read it!  If you love Inslee's art, stop by her blog and let her know I sent you!  Have a great day, and don't forget to vote for Fine Man Friday!

Lastly, if you haven't heard, Hollywood Legend Elizabeth Taylor has passed away at the age of 79 from heart failure.  I will doing a tribute post to her and her career on Saturday, so please make sure to come by then.

I also forgot!!!  I'm featured on my friend Michelle's blog today, Oh Mishka.  Please go check it out and tell her I sent you, her blog is adorable!

Liz Taylor In Iran

Vanity Fair is my favorite magazine for many reasons, including the Hollywood history they so often provide.  This is true of the photos I chose for today's post.  I was born in 1976, so I found it interesting that they decided to feature Elizabeth Taylor's trip to Iran that same year.

According to Vanity Fair, "In 1976, Elizabeth Taylor took her first and only trip to Iran, photographer Firooz Zahedi in tow.  The captivating, exotically colorful pictures that resulted will debut this month at LACMA; the untold story of Zahedi and Taylor's artistic and personal adventure."

Interesting that Liz probably wouldn't have the same opportunity today with the political upheaval going on throughout the Middle East.  I'm loving the color of the photos.  Look at Liz's outfits!

Don't forget to vote for Fine Man Friday this week, and only 3 more days to enter the blog makeover giveaway!  Have a great day friends!

Liz

I read a bio on Elizabeth (Liz) Taylor about a year ago and had no idea what her life entailed. Liz has definitely been spoiled most of her life, but most don't know that she was responsible for supporting her family from a very early age.

Liz's mother was a former stage actress and her father was an art dealer. Because of her father's art dealings, he came into contact with many many famous people of the time. National Velvet, of course made Liz famous, and set her for life as one of Hollywood's true beauties.

We all know about the scandals involving Liz, including her 8 marriages. But, she does remain one of the most respected, beautiful actresses Hollywood has to offer. My favorite role of hers was definitely Cleopatra. Check out some of the photos of Liz and have a great Sunday!
