Only You

I was looking back over some blog posts and I can't believe I've never blogged about one of my all-time favorite films.  Only You (1994) isn't a recent film, but if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you check it out.  There isn't much trivia for me to share like I normally do, other than the fact that Bridget Fonda was originally considered for the lead.  The role went to Marisa Tomei, who is stunning in the film.  What makes it even better though is not only does Robert Downey, Jr. play the other lead, but that it takes place in the gorgeous countryside of Italy.  Cosi romantico!  Let me know what you think...it holds a special place in my heart.

The Toes Know

People are either repulsed by or like the look of toes and feet.  I'm a person who likes feet.  Who doesn't want a nice pedicure, or to have soft feet?  I have tattoos on my feet, but I also have toe rings.  My mom has always had toe rings since I was a kid.  Pretty much all the women in my family have one or more, and we don't take them off during the winter.  It's a year round addiction lol.  I always buy 14k gold so they don't tarnish or fade.  There are so many cute designs out there to choose from, even if you only wear them for the summer.  I think it's well worth it to invest in a sterling silver or 14k gold version, but there are several to choose from.  Mix and match them and have some fun.  Want some of your own?  Head over to Fresh Trends and load up! I am so unbelievably excited about this giveaway.  I've mentioned on Instagram that I recently purchased a vintage bar cart for my living room.  I've been looking for the perfect accent piece to go above it, and came across something called vintage marquee lights.  You might have seen these recently.  They seem to be everywhere.  You can create words, phrases, they even have symbols!  The rustic color goes perfectly with any decor and really makes a statement.

Urban Garden

Living in the city can prevent you from having an outdoor space where you can get a little fresh air.  The conveniences of city life are many, and well worth it, but there's something to be said for walking out your back door into a nice, big yard.  How do you get a little of both?  A garden or a terrace is the perfect way to incorporate a little "outdoors" to your city space.  Elle Decor featured a few this month and I have to say that I would forget I was living in a high rise with these adorable spaces.  Take a look.
