Oh So Dramatic

I usually share anything I can find where Karlie Kloss is modeling.  She just has that look I love that's so editorial and really makes a statement.  This photo shoot from W Magazine by Craig McDean is no exception.  I love the drama of the photos.  As usual, she looks like a glamazon.  Thoughts?

Futuristic Fun

What could be better than seeing model Karlie Kloss in adorable frocks wandering through NYC?  Daft Punk and Karlie Kloss of course!  Daft Punk, better known as Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo have a new studio album out that has debuted at #1 in 31 countries.  "Get Lucky" is an amazing new song, and perfect to work out to.

Baring Your Belly?

This year the body part to bare is the belly.  I won't be on that trend, since I confess that's not my favorite body part.  Will you jump on board?

Vintage Appeal

I'm loving the throwback style that's coming our way this season.  The vintage quality in the pumps, jackets, and sunglasses, among other things is so inspiring.  Check out this gorgeous spread for Vogue Magazine...thoughts?

Meet Mutant Miss Jones

January Jones as Betty Draper is probably the least liked character on A&E's Mad Men. Why?  Probably because she doesn't show much emotion and when she does, it tends to be cold.  I love her character on Mad Men because she's real, gorgeous, and gives Don a run for his money.

She's going to soon be showing us a very different side of her; mutant.  In X-Men: First Class, January will be playing Emma Frost, a mutant clad in all-white, who can read minds and transform into a diamond.  I can't wait to see what she brings to the series.  In the meantime, check out these futuristic images of January from W Magazine May 2011.

Hope you all have a fantastic Monday.  I'm in my last week before Spring Break!  So excited.  I'm working feverishly on getting my novel ready for the May 6th release date.  I even created a new FB page for my novel information.  I'd love to have you check it out! Here is the link.

I'm guest posting for Daphne over at Flip Flops and Pearls today and would love for you to check it out!  Please stop by her fabulous blog and let me know what you think of my fun Easter baking ideas (yes, I did a post on sweets and baking!  Shocking I know, no fashion involved at all)!

One last thing.  You've probably heard about Bryan Stow and his awful beating at Dodger Stadium.  I have been following his story and find the whole thing so sad.  I thought you might want to check out the website that has been set up for him.  He has two young children and many medical bills.  Any donations or thoughts and prayers would be helpful.  I don't know him at all, just feel convicted to pass on the info for Bryan and his family.

Have a great day friends!

One Of A Kind

As usual, I'm in love with all the artistic photos that W Magazine produces.  I am constantly amazed with the beauty, originality, and style that comes out of every shoot.  This one is no exception.  This photo shoot is from the March 2011 issue of W Magazine by Craig McDean.

What do you think of the hair and makeup?  Have a great weekend friends!
