Memorial Day Weekend: Day 1--The String Bikini

Well I'm still down with this horrible throat infection, but that doesn't mean the rest of you can't get out and enjoy your holiday weekend.  It's Memorial Day weekend.  It's time to get some sun, have a few cocktails, and put on your best swimsuit.  Vogue Magazine is featuring some of the best suits for the season, so I thought I'd share them with you today, tomorrow, and Sunday.  Today's picks?  The string bikini of course.  Being a native Californian, the string bikini is part of our culture.  Take a look at Vogue's picks.

Street Style--Cannes 2013

It's been a while since I've done a street style post.  To be honest, I haven't seen anything that I loved or found inspirational.  Maybe it's the transition between seasons?  The Cannes Film Festival recently showed a few summer-ready looks I love.

Let The Sun Shine In

I've mentioned bronzers, sandals, and tans the past few days.  Now it's time for some fabulous sunnies. I'm on the constant lookout for some adorable sunnies to protect my eyes, while at the same time looking fabulous.  Right now I'm dying over a Gucci pair.  

It's rare to catch me without sunnies anytime it's not raining.  I'm a bit obsessive about avoiding eye wrinkles, and what better way than with a gorgeous pair of shades?  Whether you have a round, square, or even heart-shaped face, there are so many shapes and colors to choose from this year.
