Plain Jane? I Think Not

Well, today was horrible.  It was just one of those days you'd like to forget and move on from.  That's ok though, it happens.  At least W Magazine knows how to perk me up with these incredible photos of some cozy sweaters and dresses that are perfect for fall.  Take a look.

A Lil' Bit Country

Summer's almost here!  Today was my seniors last day and I will miss them all.  It's so exciting to see each class grow up and graduate.  I can't wait to see what they all achieve!  Summer means concert season, or more specifically country concert season.  It's always a great time to hang out in the open air, listening to some good music.  What to wear those boots with?  Take a look.

Cowboy Boot Love

Good morning!  It's another gorgeous day here in Colorado and I can't wait to get out and go for a walk.  Since I've been in Colorado, I've wanted to wear my cowboy boots a lot more, so of course I'm dying to get another pair.  My favorite place to buy boots is Boot Barn.  They have great deals, an amazing selection, and people are really friendly and ready to help you find the perfect pair.

As you know, I did a giveaway for a pair of Shyanne boots recently, and Marissa, my lucky winner is still in the process of choosing which ones she wants!  Boot Barn also sent me a pair, and I can't wait to wear them to the Toby Keith concert in August.  I recently wore them to see Sugarland and look how cute they were!

The boots are so comfy, easy to break in, and really make a statement.  Sometimes boots take a while to break in, but these were great from the first minute I had them on!  They look great with everything I own and I've had about 10 people ask me where I got them.  And, the price is right!  What are you waiting for?  Go get yourself a pair!

I'm in Colorado! Boot Barn Giveaway!

So I finally made it to Colorado!!!  We've been driving since yesterday morning, and had a little car trouble yesterday, but we're in Breckenridge, and heading out tomorrow to the Denver area!  The road trip has been awesome and I can't wait to get settled in my brother and sister-in-law's new place.  I'll be there for about a month, so I'll be blogging from there, sharing lots of activities and gorgeous scenery.

To help kick off my amazing summer, one of my all time favorite stores, Boot Barn has generously offered to give one of my readers a free pair of cowboy boots!  Yes, you heard me right!  FREE BOOTS!!!  Boot Barn has been one of my favorite stores since high school.  I've always worn cowboy boots, and Boot Barn was the only place to get the newest, best pairs of quality boots.  I purchased my gorgeous Old Gringo's from them, and recently I was lucky enough to have them send me a pair of Shyanne's . Here's a few pics of them:

Aren't they amazing???  I will share more photos of them later when I wear them to the Toby Keith concert in August.

So, back to Boot Barn.  They not only sent me a gorgeous pair of Shyanne boots, but asked me if I'd like to do a giveaway for one of my readers to win a pair!  Would I?  Uh, Duh!!!  All joking aside, I am shocked by their generosity and can't say enough about this quality company.  So, with that being said, here are a few of the styles that you can choose from.  Yes, YOU actually get to choose which style you want, and as long as they have your size in stock, they're yours free and clear!

Those are just a few of the styles to choose from.  I will send the winner a PDF with info on all the boots you can choose from.  So how do you enter?  Click on the Rafflecopter link below and follow all directions.  Please follow the directions, so your entries are valid!

Giveaway will end next Sunday night, July 1st!  Good luck and have fun!!!!

Oh, by the way, the winner of the Lulu's gift card was May!  She was entry #559, congrats girl!

Dust Off Those Boots

It's that time again. Time to get tickets to every country outdoor concert there is.  Time to find an adorable pair of short shorts, some fabulous cowboy boots, and a sexy hat.  Time for a Shocktop and good friends.  Stagecoach this past weekend officially kicked off country concert season.  I love my summer's for many reasons, but good old country music is definitely one of the big ones.

If you plan to join me in taking in a few shows this summer, make sure you have all the gear.  For boots, get down to Boot Barn and don't settle for anything less than some Old Gringos.  Here's my new pair:

Another place I love to online shop is a little boutique I found in Texas called Pistols and Pearls.  They have great deals, fun novelty items, and are so friendly!  Tell them I sent you!

I'm dying for these at Boot Barn...amazing colors for Summer

Yesterday I mentioned Shabby Apple's Inca Trail collection.  You know about my western obsession lately and the timing for this collection is just perfect!  It's right up my alley.  I'm going to order the skirts for school to wear with my new boots!

If you've never shopped with them, you must visit.  Their prices are reasonable, and the dresses and skirts are to die for.  Check out the new collection, then head over.  Enter the promo code "trail" to receive 10% off your order!  Let me know what you get!
