I've been reading a lot lately about the relationship between Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe. Joe was deeply in love with Marilyn, we know. He was protective of her and felt she involved herself with people who were detrimental to her life and career. Marilyn loved Joe, but did she ever really love him?
After their divorce, Joe asked Marilyn to remarry him. Upon her death, he continued to have half a dozen roses delivered to her crypt three times a week. Upon Joe's death, he made his son agree to continue sending the roses for him. I do believe Marilyn was the love of Joe's life, but what do you think she felt about him?
