The "It" List

Elle Magazine recently posted about some of the new trends in makeup, skincare, and scent. I usually don't like everything on the list, but actually thought they did a great job here. The first one is neon-colored make-up, as seen in the previous photo of Nars Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Celebrate, a sour-apple green, lights up lids with a hint of neon. $25 At Sephora.

Next up is OPI's new shade "Y'all Come Back Ya Hear?" I love corals and anything with a orange base, so this is one I can't wait for. It's from their Texas-inspired collection. What do you think?

Since the neon trend is coming back (which I'm not so sure of) we will be seeing a lot more of the primary colors on the lid. Lancôme Color Design Eye Shadows are ideal for high-pigment color-blocking. Pair electric blues All Made Up (above left) and Little Blue Dress (above right) with saffron Center Stage.

I'm slightly addicted to my MAC Lipglass and the way it makes my lips look pouty, but am more than willing to give this a try. Glistening Lip Slip glosses by Piret & Tamara, in Strawberry (top) and Peony (bottom), give pouts a candied shine with just a touch of glitter.

I'm not a huge Beyonce fan, but her scent is getting a lot of press. Have you tried it? Beyoncé’s Heat Rush Eau de Toilette ignites notes of Brazilian cherry, mango, and orchid.

I am a huge Versace fan and can't wait to get my hands on this gorgeous little bottle. It's a limited edition bottle with floral and pomegranate scents.

Clinique sometimes comes out with a product that everyone loves. This seems to be the case with these darling "Chubby Sticks."

Last, but not least, is the all-important eye creme. My mom thinks I'm ridiculous because I've been wearing eye creme since I was 16, but the eye area is so sensitive you have to protect it. This is a fabulous product that does just that. Research centers in France, Switzerland, and China studied the blue orchid for more than 10 years to create Guerlain’s Orchidée Impériale Eye and Lip Cream, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles and restores skin vitality. A little pricey though at $190.
