Girls Night

--Final film of American actress Jill Clayburgh, who died the year before release.

--The cast spent about two weeks improvising with each other, some of which was incorporated into the movie. 

--Melissa McCarthy (Megan) and Ben Falcone (Air Marshall Jon) are real life husband and wife. 

--Before he came to Hollywood, Jon Hamm, who plays Ted, was a high school drama teacher at the John Burroughs School in Ladue, Missouri; one of his acting students wasEllie Kemper, who plays Becca. 

--Melissa McCarthy told an interviewer for "GQ" Magazine that she based the look and characterization of Megan in part on Guy Fieri, the (male) host of the show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. 

--Highest grossing R-rated female comedy of all time in the domestic box office, edging out Sex and the City. 

--Ted's house's exterior is the same one used as Kelly Taylor's in Beverly Hills, 90210. 

--Paul Rudd appears in a deleted scene as Dave who briefly dates Annie. However, his role is uncredited but the scene is shown in the deleted scenes section of the bonus features on the DVD.
