It's the middle of July, and I haven't been able to get to the beach yet. I walked the beach in my tennies, but that's not the same as lying there baking, while reading my favorite book. There are so many beautiful beaches in the world. My favorite has to be Waikiki. But then again, I haven't been to that many. What's your favorite beach and why? Share please!

I love to go anywhere on FL's 30A, but my favorite beach is St. Thomas! I am also looking forward to one day visiting Tortola! ;)

Oh my gosh! These pictures make me want to run, not walk, to the beach right now and dive in. I grew up on Long Island and there's just something about the Atlantic Ocean that screams summer.
So want to go on a beach vacation!!! I may be soon near a beach but yes, it doesn't mean I'm going to enjoy walking on sand every single day. :(

Summer goes by soooooo very fast, I feel the same as you. Before you know it it's the middle of July! Great beach photos. I took some cool ones today at the beach we went to (will post late tonight).
I have so many favorite beaches as I have been to many. I am always drawn to unusual water and/or sand color. I loved the black sand beach and the green sand beach in Big Island (Hawaii). I was in love with the emerald green Indian ocean coast of Africa. The stark white sand beaches Cabo with the pastel blue ocean and last but not least my own home town with the turquoise blue Mediterranean.
I collect sands from beaches I visit and save them in old glass bottles in my guest bathroom!
