Beauty At Any Age

(Dakota and Elle Fanning--17 and 13)

Every year, Vogue Magazine celebrates women of all ages by showcasing women as young as 13, and as old as 90.  Beauty really knows no age.  Each person has their own idea of what beauty is.  This year's portfolio is stunning as always.  Take a look.

I'm constantly inspired and amazed by the talented photographers out there.  Today's photos are no exception.  The photos are from Vanity Fair U.K. for their portfolio known as Vanity Fair On Jewelry.  Which is your favorite photo?  Would you wear the jewels they do?  Have a great day friends!

Fashion Friday L.A.M.B

Welcome to Fashion Friday!  I hope you can link up with me today.  I've posted on Gwen Stefani before, but never about her amazing line, L.A.M.B.  It seemed perfect for today to discuss her inspiring success as a designer.  Not only is Gwen talented musically, beautiful, a wonderful mom, and sweet, she has a style that's hard to beat.

The L.A.M.B. (Love Angel Music Baby) line includes clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and of course fragrance.  There is no limit to what this lady can do.  I'm not sure I'm loving everything coming up in the Fall 2011 line, but do like various pieces and can't wait for more plaid, and old school looks.  Do you own anything L.A.M.B.?

Link up with me?  This is a blog hop, so please follow the instructions!  I don't want to have to delete any links, so please follow all directions.
1.  Grab the button for the link and make sure to mention the link up and link back to Blonde Episodes.
2.  Write any fashion post and add your link to the linky.
3.  Make sure to visit other blogs on the linky, that's the point of a hop!
4.  Make sure to leave a comment so I know you stopped by!
Thanks so much!  Happy Fashion Friday!

Pink and Green Thursday For The Love Of Books

Reading is one of my favorite things to do.  I love that I can transport myself into someone else's life and story.  My dream is to one day have a gorgeous library of my own in my home where I can curl up and and read a good book by the fire.  I found some gorgeous images of books and the fabulous places to read them in for Pink and Green Thursday.  I'm linking up with the amazing Trish of Pink Preppy Lilly Lover today! Go check her out.  Have a wonderful day friends!

New York Swagger

Today I'm linking up with the lovely Daphne of Flip Flops and Pearls for Wordless (Semi) Wednesday!  It's hard to believe, but Fall fashion is among us.  I'm just barely getting into my shorts, and here we are ready to shop for boots, leggings, and sweaters.  I'm not ready yet, so don't expect me to give up on my Summer themed posts, but look at these gorgeous looks from W Magazine.  It's street fashion at it's finest.  The spread shows uptown versus downtown chic. What look do you like better?

Uptown?

Or Downtown?

What Do You Propose?

So I'm sitting here watching The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock and forgot how funny this film is.  Not only am I head over heels in love with Ryan Reynolds, but Sandra is one of my favorite actresses ever.  She's beautiful and funny, what a total package.

I'm sure you've all seen the film, but if you haven't, you have to check it out.  In the meantime, here are some photos, a bit of trivia, and a clip from the film.  Enjoy!

--Sandra Bullock plays a Canadian who wants to marry her assistant in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid being deportation to Canada.  In real life, Bullock is American and Reynolds is Canadian.

--225 Franklin Street, Boston was the real location of the Colden Books office.  The entire main office, including Margaret's and Bob's offices were completely rebuilt and replicated at Disney Studios in Burbank, CA for pickups and reshoots.

--Julia Roberts was the first choice to play Margaret, but reportedly refused to take a pay cut, so Sandra Bullock took over the role.

--Betty White almost turned down her role in the film because filming would require her to spend ten weeks away from her golden retriever.
