Another Legend Gone RIP Jane Russell

It's official, we have lost yet another Hollywood icon.  Jane Russell has passed on of a respiratory-related illness.  She was 89 years old.  RIP Jane.

Chanel Goes Hollywood

The night before the Oscars, Chanel had a party at Madeo in Hollywood to celebrate one last get together before awards season ended.  Since it was a Chanel party, most who attended were clad in Chanel from head to toe.  The photos are so much fun...what do you think?

Marilyn's Private Archives

It's been a while since I visited Barnes and Noble, ever since I purchased my Nook I have an online purchasing obsession.  But, I'm glad I did, because I found the most amazing new book on Marilyn Monroe.  A few months back, Vanity Fair featured an article on Marilyn Monroe's lost archives and provided pictures of some of the items in her long, lost filing cabinets.  

Well, now there's a gorgeous, coffee-table style book that features the story behind the items, and a catalog of photos displaying the items.  It is fascinating!  The Barnes and Noble website says it is being released March 1, 2011, but it was in the store on Saturday.  You have to get yourself a copy!  It is amazing ($35).

I went shopping as promised for my new Harvey's Original Seatbelt Bag and ended up buying two bags and a wallet! LOL.  I'm having a little trouble, however deciding on one more...and need your opinion.  The black Stella style above is the one I purchased already.

So, here's my question, which one do you like as another fun bag?

Harvey's Seatbelt Bags

I'm on way to find a new bag tomorrow (after months of searching) and I've decided to try a Harvey's Original Seatbelt Bag.  I've never really seen the appeal of these bags, but am loving their new designs and want something different, so they fit.  They even have a new Minnie Mouse line made for Disney! Hope you are having a great weekend, I will let you know what I find after my shopping trip!

Disneyland's Haunted Mansion

Since today is Saturday, I thought it would be fun to post about one of my favorite things, Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.  I'm not exactly sure why the Haunted Mansion fascinates me so, but I've loved it for as long as I can remember.  It might have something to do with my fascination with death and the unknown?  Anyway, it's my favorite ride at Disneyland, I have every book written on it, and learn something new about it all the time.

Well it was close this week, and truth be told, I was hoping for hunky (did I just say hunky lol) Edward Norton.  But, you chose Daniel Craig, so I hope you enjoy the photos of Mr. 007!
